Morning Coffee with FLN on Substack 04222024
Welcome to today’s post! Let's review the Bracket predictions! Tomorrow will be Region Prediction Day!
For all those who read Friday’s Substack and signed up for the free subscription to do so, thank you! And for those who paid for the full subscription, a double thank you! Friday’s Substack was read more than any other so far and it shows the continued interest in growing the knowledge and insight of the sport and its performance in the state!
I’m not one to pat myself on the back, so thank you for the comments received offline. The predictions here on Friday morning helped lead you to watch the rollout show with the FHSAA, both live and on replay. Friday at 2:00pm was a little tougher for many to catch live, but when I look at today’s posting on YouTube, I see just as many views as we had last year on Sunday morning, which has already reached over 1,200 views. If you are a YouTube user when it comes to a lot of viewing time, you might like to subscribe to their channel. The FHSAA is a public entity, which means that eventually they publish many meetings to that site, including lacrosse advisory meetings, at some point after they happened.
Okay, now on to a question that is important to me, and to many of you . . . how accurate was I in the predictions of who and where the schools were going to be slotted? A quick note on how many slots there were; 4 regions x 2 Genders x 16 teams in each = 128 slots. 64 District winners and 64 at-large teams. 16 regional brackets.
