Patriot League Women’s Recap
*
St Thomas’ Ava Yovino earned Patriot League 2nd Team honors this year, starting all 21 games for Navy, providing a lot of production out of the midfield.
Pine Crest’s Ella Bishara only started one of her 15 games at Colgate but still provided 35 goals. Her teammate, Bartram Trail’s Madison Stevens, got into 7 games as a reserve goalie, and came away with a save mark of 39.2%
Benjamin’s Lily Valentini started all 17 games for Army this season and produced solid numbers, with a balanced stat line. Her Army teammate, Ramsey Burrows of Vero Beach, only played in one game and garnered a CTO in it.
Pine Crest’s Taylor McClain started all 16 games for Bucknell in her senior year, mostly in a feeder role, as she produced 25 assists. Her Bison teammates, AH-Delray’s Harper Throop and St Thomas’ Julia Backenstrass, did not play. I did not see an injury report for either. Throop has entered the Transfer Portal.
Benjamin’s Ava Schulties played one game at Lehigh, but didn’t record a stat.
Academy of the Holy Name’s Sophia Pyne played in 7 games for Holy Cross and was credited with 5 draw controls.
